What we hold, and your rights
This page covers this site and the Business Development application only. It is written plainly rather than as a legal document, because a notice nobody reads is not a notice.
Before you apply
We record which pages you open and which buttons you press, so we know which of our advertisements actually bring people. If you start typing into the application form we save what you have typed, so a half-finished application is not lost.
When you apply
When you apply we hold your name, email, phone number, college and how far you live from Sainikpuri, so that we can call you and arrange the interview. We also record whether you opened our emails and whether you opened the preparation page. That is used for one thing: so we do not chase somebody who is already doing the work.
If you start the form and do not finish
If you fill some of this form and leave without sending it, we keep what you typed, and we may call you about it. We do that because a number typed and not sent is usually somebody who meant to apply. If you would rather we did not, clear the fields before you go, or write to us and we will delete it.
How long we keep it
We keep applications for one year from the date you apply, and site activity for six months. A half-finished form that is never submitted is deleted after thirty days.
What you can ask us to do
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will act on it. You can also turn the activity tracking off on this page, which deletes what we have recorded for your browser, including any half-finished form. Doing that does not affect your application in any way.
Who else sees it
Applications are stored in our own database on Supabase. Emails are sent through Brevo. This site also carries the Meta advertising pixel, which reports to Meta that somebody visited and applied. We do not sell anything to anybody, and we do not pass your details to another employer.
If something is wrong
Tell us and we will fix it. write to Tarun, CEO, DeepThought, at tarun@dtgrowthteams.com and we will sort it out. If we do not, the Data Protection Board of India is the escalation.
Your choice about activity tracking
You can change this at any time, and changing it does not affect an application you have already sent.
